Serving neighbors with consistency, experience, and genuine care has guided my work for decades. I’m Janice Mathis, a second‐generation State Farm agent based in Lancaster, SC, and I’ve had the privilege of serving my community since 1989. Together, my team and I bring over 100 years of combined insurance experience, helping families and businesses prepare with confidence.

Our office is located at 306 N Main Street, Suite C in Lancaster, where we focus on understanding the diverse needs of our Good Neighbors. I’m a Certified Life Underwriter (CLU) and a Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP), credentials that allow me to guide customers through thoughtful conversations, especially when it comes to protecting income, preparing for retirement, and supporting loved ones over the long term.

We focus on Auto, Homeowners, Condo, Renters, Business, Life, Pet, and coverage for motorcycles, recreational vehicles, and boats. We believe coverage should be explained clearly and carefully, so customers understand how their insurance works and how they fit into their lives. For comfort and clarity, our office proudly offers service in English and Spanish, making communication easy and welcoming for everyone we serve.

Outside of the office, I enjoy crocheting as a creative and relaxing outlet. I even teach a crocheting class, which gives me another way to connect with the community while sharing something I love. It’s also a meaningful way to create thoughtful gifts for friends and family and stay involved locally.
